"Country Fence' is a bucolic setting of the corn harvest having just been completed. The shadow of the fence lends to the appeal. Also, if you follow the fence line you can see the a few structures faintly in the background. A symbolism of the crops are still being harvested while the structures, such as barns are fading into the background.
