Hello Everyone, I have good news, sad news and good news in this email. The good news, even if you missed Opening Night you can still see "Impressions of Virginia" in Colonial Beach at Dockside Realty. Plus, the exhibit is coming to Fredericksburg in February 2022. The exhibit is a duo exhibit with Laural Koons and the two artists are excited to have a traveling exhibit. The sad news of this newsletter requires a little history. We started our business in 2007, after I graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies. Our actual business name is Yahweh Kid Promotions, LLC. The business has been through various changes over the years, but has remained creative and artistic. In the early years, our focus was on Independent Christian artists and speakers. However, in 2013, after Dawn recovered from an illness and surgery in 2012, she decided to focus full-time on photography. Since 2013, we have operated under the dba Dew Photography VA. Unfortunately, as with many smaller businesses Covid-19 has hit us hard the last two years. Therefore, we have made the decision to close our LLC (Yahweh Kid Promotions LLC) as of December 31st, 2021. However, more good news, I am not giving up my photography and writing. I will be spending 2022 restructuring my photography and writing into a sole proprietorship. A large portion of you know, I have had a book in progress since around 2017. I wonder sometimes why God has not allowed me to finish it yet, then He shows me glimpses of why it is not complete. It will be in His timing and I must be okay with that. As we move forward on God's timeline not mine, my request is you keep me in prayer.
